About the Author
Nick Stellino grew up in Palermo, on the island of Sicily, and came to the United States in 1975. In 1991, he decided to leave his career as a Wall Street stockbroker in order to follow his dream of becoming a chef. He started his culinary career as a dishwasher. Over time, he apprenticed with the best Italian chefs in America. Nick says he was in heaven working his way up the restaurant line, but he wanted to share his enthusiasm for Italian cooking with more people. He decided a cooking show was the answer. Employing the energy that had taken him from Palermo to Wall Street, Nick began calling production companies. His efforts culminated in the highly successful series Cucina Amore, Nick Stellino's Family Kitchen, Nick Stellino Cooking with Friends, and most recently, Cooking with Nick Stellino, all seen on public television stations nationwide.

Nick lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Nanci, and their two cats, Luca and Luigi.

Well done. Some very good recipes and Nick's personality is reflected in the book, too. I recommend it without reservations.

The Sicilian Invasion!

Been a "Foodie" for long time - including watching and using recipes from Julie Childs - Emeril - Bobby Flay - Giada - and so many more. Many of their cookbooks were purchased - some were delightful and some not so much - - Not too many months ago we watched "Nick Stellino" on PBS's "On Demand." What an infectious personality - how very simple and passionate he gets in the kitchen (well, at least in front of the camera - I'd bet he's that way at home too) - great recipes demonstrated as only Nick Stellino can show and tell with his modest Sicilian accent. His commentary alone is worth watching the program. So naturally we had to get the book - not too many books on Amazon by Nick - but this book typifies his personality - recipes, many we watched him make on TV - explained in easy-to-follow steps - BUT... the asides that he writes are themselves worthy of publication. Sorry, am getting carried away. If you like "reading standard" Cookbooks, old-timey cookbooks, you may want to sample it before buying it.
If you want to have fun reading and cooking, this book is for you!

Great Book - Most Repeatable Swing in Golf

Two years ago, I was a 19 handicap and decided I wanted to start playing golf more seriously. My goal ... to break 80. I went to Sam Goulden and asked him if my goal was attainable and if he could help me. Today, my index is a 5.8!

With less than 5 one-hour lessons (all the information from which, and more, is contained in this book), Sam proceeded to teach me the square to square swing (also known as the Stricker swing). With very few moving parts, the swing is extremely repeatable which makes it attractive to average golfers like myself. Because it is so repeatable, it enables you to start striking your irons more crisply and with better consistency; which, in turn, builds confidence in your swing and unclutters your thoughts. We all know that consistency and confidence lead to results.

Now, instead of paying for brush-up lessons or when I have a bad round, I turn to this book for the answers. I often read pertinent parts of it before I practice. This may seem oversimplified, and it's true that I have spent hours upon hours at the range honing my skills and trying to master the square to square swing, but it is also true that you can learn the swing mechanics in this easy to understand instructional book and translate those things to your own swing/game.

Bottom line - this book is worth every bit of $10!

The best book on the golf swing, period.

This book is so simple that some golfers might overlook the gold within it's pages. This theory actually works and works well. The same day I read the rebook, I played 18 holes and hit the best iron shots I have ever hit. I highly recommend adopting it's principles and watching your golf improve.

Great information to simplify the golf swing.

I watched many of the youtube videos before buying the book from Sam's website. It is cheaper for the Kindle version at Amazon. I don't mind paying a few extra dollars because the information is fantastic. I am hitting the ball much better with all of my clubs. Your iron play will denitely improve but with a little practice so will your driver and fairway woods / hybrids. Swinging the way Sam describes eliminates many variables that make playing consistent golf very difficult. Like others have commented, I too have taken many lessons over the years with varying degrees of success. The most important thing in golf is consistancy and that is what this swing will give you. Hitting the ball square and flush, taking a nice divot, will give you better trajectory and distance. For $10 this book is a great deal. Watch the video links at the end of each chapter. Rer-ead and practice as needed. You will see improvement!!

I had to buy all seasons of yugioh, I already put in orders for season three through 5, otherwise like before, they will be gone! don't want to suffer a withdrawal from it. As I said before on review on season one, I have been looking for yugioh with subtitles or captions via online or anywhere, cant find them that are working, I mean with captions... so pissed me off...took me ten years since.... and when heard about this seasons of yugioh came out, I was like yay! decided to buy all of them.

no point to tell you what going on this seasons, after all there are bunch of reviews already explained. But all I can say... it has captions... need to set television to bring out captions. but It is all great. box look awesome.. It is cheaper to buy a volume case but... box set are way better, more cost but... get a cool box case, like having a book on shelves.

Battle City begins as the story continues.

Continuing off from season 1, season 2 opens with a new arc, the battle city arc which is by far the most iconic arc of the show's history, we are introduced to new characters, new cards, and a new format of dueling, as a tournament to decide who's the best turns into a constant battle for survival for Yugi, and a huge test for Joey who no longer has his main card to use in duels. Both soon have to combine their power to fight off a new evil, and with everything on the line the battles are intense for sure, if you like this show you should definitely pick up this arc.

This is Yu-Gi-Oh at its best!

As a kid I used to love waiting for Saturday mornings to catch the newest episode of Yu-Gi-Oh! This season was by far my favorite. The story is more interesting this time around. It has some of the best duels in the series. The new addition to cards and stratagies makes for a very fun season to watch. If you loved season one than you will want this one too.

good, but needs more explanation

This long-awaited text in Spanish has helped me to teach my GED students, even though explanation, as in all current GED texts, is a bit thin. The questions, probably reflecting the test itself, are sometimes intricate and somewhat tricky, unnecessarily so, in my opinion. All in all, it's still probably the best book out there in Spanish. It may deserve a higher rating, but I find the whole approach of the GED exam too convoluted. I don't understand why the GED test has to be so difficult that most high school graduates could not pass it, but student materials need to amplify their explanations in order to help these students who truly deserve a helping hand.

About the Author
James W. Kalat is Professor Emeritus of Psychology at North Carolina State University, where he taught courses in introduction to psychology and biological psychology from 1977 through 2012. He received an AB degree summa cum laude from Duke University and a PhD in psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He is also the author of INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY (10th Edition) and co-author with Michelle Shiota of EMOTION (2nd Edition). In addition to textbooks, he has written journal articles on taste-aversion learning, the teaching of psychology, and other topics. He was twice the program chair for the annual convention of the American Psychological Society, now named the Association for Psychological Science.

A must have for Ianto fans!

But you need both numbers 3&4 because the story is divided between the two. As someone who misses Ianto fiercely, I found this to be a satisfying if bittersweet (because it reminds me how much of Ianto's story was left to be told) read.
