A Helpful Guide

I am not a confident test-taker, so this study guide was exceptionally helpful to me. It covered the general information I needed to study, as well as providing me with a practice test to help me judge where I stood. I ended up using the practice test answers as a review, since the answers had in-depth explanations as to why those answers were correct. There also were tips for test-taking that helped me to feel more at ease when I took my exam.
There were various things that I was having a hard time keeping straight, but this guide helped get past my sticking points. I was able to learn terminology with ease and understand the different forms of bereavement that people go through during the time they are dealing with the loss of a loved one.
When I purchased the guide, I bought the companion flashcards, which fleshed out this book’s information. These two purchases helped me to feel more confident in my studying. I highly recommend both the guide and the flashcards.

Did you know there's a funeral service national board exam?

If you are looking for this particular study guide, you probably know there's a funeral service national board. But most people I run into do not know that. They have no idea what I've had to go through to get where I am. Being in the funeral service business is a choice and one that I was happy to make. I could have done a lot of things with my life, but this was what I wanted to do. That being said, when it came time to take the board exam, I was really nervous. I wanted to pace myself in my studying, but I felt rushed and like I needed to learn everything overnight. To slow myself down a bit, I looked for a study guide to help me learn how to take tests better. I thought that would calm my nerves and once they were settled, I could really concentrate. I ran across this study guide and found that it was exactly what I needed. It had all the material I needed, which I certainly didn't expect to find. Plus, it had tips on how to spread my studying out and not race through it. It even informed me on a few test taking tips that helped me take the exam with a clear, calm, cool and collected head on my shoulders. It still amazes people to know that I had to take a large test to be in this business, but knowing that I did well on it gives them even more peace of mind when working with me.
